Volunteering to work with Young People is
worthwhile and rewarding. It can be hard too.

NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN YOUTH WORK – LEVEL 3
STARTING please contact me for next start date

This programme will provide you with the foundation you need to work with young people. You will develop positive, interactive skills, as well as an awareness of the environments and their effects on young people in Aotearoa today. Become aware and understand the pressures young people are facing and learn strategies to help direct youth in a positive way. This is also a great place to start if you are also considering a career in Youth Work.


NZQA APPROVED

• This course will run from our Lower Hutt training suite.
• The course is structured as full time (30 hours per week) to run over 12 weeks (no breaks).
• Two classroom days, 2 work related days, plus self directed study.
• The course costs $1,649 per student (if eligible student loans/allowances can be applied for).
