A teenager has been hit by a bus in central Wellington.

A police communications spokesman said the accident occurred near the bus stop on Lambton Quay by the intersection wtih Bunny St.

The victim, a 16-year-old male, was taken to Wellington Hospital in a serious condition with head injuries, according to Wellington Free Ambulance. Read More>>
